WellSpan Health is a nonprofit, physician-led integrated health system based in York, Pennsylvania, serving south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland with about 24,000 team members, 12 hospitals and 250+ care locations. Its roots go back to the York Hospital and Dispensary, incorporated in 1880; the modern WellSpan network grew through affiliations and mergers (Gettysburg, Ephrata, Good Samaritan, Philhaven, Summit Health, Evangelical).
